MRR Environmental PolicyWe will ensure full compliance with the requirements of the environmental system policy as follows; A. Continually review and seek opportunities to improve and develop procedures and processes which will improve performance of MRR and its employees through a program of assessing the environmental impacts and aspects of MRR activities, setting and reviewing Objectives and Targets and training; B. Strive to prevent pollution by: Transporting, storing, handling, use and disposing of all potentially hazardous substances and waste in a safe and proper manner; Eliminating or reducing the use of hazardous substances; Eliminating or reducing hazardous and nuisance releases to the air, water and land; Encouraging the responsible use of resources including efficient and optimized use of energy, water, non-renewable resources and raw materials; C. Comply with, and exceed where possible, all legislation and other environmental requirements applicable to MRR in accordance with corporate policies and act openly with government officials at all levels to ensure full compliance with such requirements; D. Establish an environmental management system which conforms to ISO 14001; E. Continuously monitor our facilities and processes to ensure compliance with corporate standards, applicable legislation, industrial best practices and licenses; F. Undertake annual environmental audits of all MRR operations in accordance with corporate standards, policies and procedures; and G. Communicate this policy to all employees and make the policy available to the public. |
