MRR NewsMRR OBTAINS PCB TRANSPORT PERMITMaterial Resource Recovery is pleased to announce that it has obtained a Certificate of Approval for a Waste Management System, 8663-5HLJUJ, which allows for the transport of both PCB wastes and hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. "This will add significantly to our ability to provide a much more responsive and cost effective service to our clients in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia" adds Damian Rodriguez, General Manager. MRR also presented to the public a proposal for the construction of a temporary storage area for Department of Transport (DOT) approved sealed roll-off and marine containers containing soils, metal and concrete contaminated with PCB. "We are not applying to expand the amount of material we treat or to change other facets of the operation" said Rodriguez. "The addition will mean MRR can handle the material we receive more efficiently." |
