MRR NewsMRR’s MOBILE WASTE WATER TREATMENT UNIT RECEIVES CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL FOR DESTRUCTION OF PCB WATERCORNWALL – MRR is pleased to announce that it has received a Certificate of Approval for its mobile waste water treatment unit allowing for the treatment of waste waters contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). This mobile unit utilizes a titanium dioxide photocatalytic process which is vastly more efficient than conventional GA Carbon and UV/H2O2/O3 treatment processes and allows for the treatment of up to 30,000 liters of groundwater and process waters per day without generating any waste by-products. In addition to PCBs, this process can also treat a wide range of organics including: pesticides/herbicides, trichloroethylene, perchloroethylene, methylene chloride, toluene, benzene, naphthalene, styrene, xylene and mercaptans. |
